SCANPH Communications Manager

The Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing (SCANPH) is a regional membership organization promoting the production, preservation and management of homes affordable to low income people throughout the Southern California region. Our roughly 300 organizational members are based primarily in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties and include non-profit housing developers, private businesses, property management companies, government agencies and social service organizations.

Residential Services Specialist A Community of Friends

The Residential Services Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive services to formerly homeless persons living with mental illness in an independent living environment. Working under the direction of the Residential Services Supervisor, the Residential Services Specialist will participate in providing independent living services, assisting tenants in locating community resources, collect tenant data and prepare outcome and quality assurance reports.

Case Manager I A Community of Friends

Under the direction of the Tenant Services Supervisor I/II, the Case Manager I (CM-I) is responsible for providing individual case management to formerly homeless individuals and families utilizing a theoretical framework incorporating Motivation Interviewing (MI), Critical Time Intervention (CTI) and Stages of Change (SoC). This framework provides the CM-I with tools that reflect best practices to motivate tenants to achieve their goals in a non-judgmental manner.

Substance Abuse Specialist A Community of Friends

The Substance Abuse Specialist will develop, oversee and implement substance abuse recovery program for
dually diagnosed adults living in ACOF’s buildings. This position will coordinate services, including leading
on-site support and recovery groups and 12 Step meetings or coordinating these groups through service
sub-contractors; consulting with supportive services and residential management staff regarding tenants’
progress and participation; making referrals to Addiction Counselors and Clinicians as appropriate;
