Emerging Leaders in Affordable Housing (ELA)
Empowering the Next Generation of Affordable Housing Leaders — Peer Networking for Career Development
Emerging Leaders in Affordable Housing (ELA) is a new collaborative and inclusive community bridging together the up-and-coming leaders across the many diverse sectors of the affordable housing industry. ELA aims to empower rising affordable housing professionals and advocates by fostering opportunities for peer-to-peer connection, industry knowledge sharing, and professional and personal development. Whether you are a project manager looking at your next steps or just starting out in your career, ELA is a platform to grow your capacity as both an individual and as a houser, and understand the many diverse facets that make up affordable housing.
ELA Goals:
- Foster connections between early to mid-career professionals across the affordable housing industry through a strong and engaged cross-sector network
- Offer members regular opportunities for in-person and virtual networking, peer learning, career and personal development
- Curate and maintain an online platform for members to connect and share resources, knowledge, and external opportunities to further career development
- Create awareness amongst members of additional educational opportunities available to them in the industry at a variety of levels, and create awareness of diverse pathways through the industry
