Now Is The Time To Get Active With Housing Los Angeles!

Housing LA, the board coalition that fought for and won Los Angeles’ Housing Trust Fund, is now working to significantly increase the supply of safe, decent homes that people can afford. Housing LA’s 3-Point-Plan to solve the housing crisis includes building mixed-income neighborhoods where new apartment developments include affordable; continuing efforts to protect apartments and residential hotels from demolition and conversion to condominiums; and urging the city to commit to a long-term, dedicated source of funding for the Housing Trust Fund.

We know we can solve the housing crisis if only the Mayor and City Council will take action. Your participation is critical to this effort. Here is what you can do help Housing LA’s campaign to build the affordable housing we all need:

1) Get involved in a Campaign Working Group. Three groups have been established and meet once a month in the Valley, South LA and San Pedro.

2) Sign up, collect endorsements and recruit more supporters.

3) Participate in delegation visits with City Council members.
