The State Board of Equalization (the "BOE") adopted new regulations for the property tax exemption available to low-income housing properties. While some of the changes were clarifications of existing interpretation of the law, the BOE made significant changes to the requirements that managing general partners of limited partnerships must meet for tax credit projects to continue to be eligible for property tax exemption.
