Regional Manager

The John Stewart Company is seeking a Regional Manager (RM) for the San Diego office. The RM will oversee the operations of a portfolio of properties as well as site employees. The position requires regularly scheduled site visits to ensure the proper management of each assigned project. The RM must relate well to people and exercise solid judgement in dealing with staff, vendors, government employees and Sponsors. Additionally, the RM is expected to be creative, provide leadership to enrich the community life of the property and to direct staff in a productive, efficient manner. Must have a minimum of 4 years experience in property management, demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling and completing major projects with minimal guidance, knowledge and working experience in the affordable housing industry including Section 8 and Tax Credit, working knowledge in budget preparation and forecasting, knowledge in MS Office, 2 years experience in personnel supervision, training, and evaluation.
