Director of Development

Gay & Lesbian Elder Housing, a non-profit equal opportunity housing provider whose mission is to build and operate high-quality, affordable, multicultural housing for low, moderate and fixed income seniors, is seeking a dynamic, self-directed, team-oriented person. Ideal candidate will have strong management and administrative experience to lead comprehensive development program including annual giving, grants, major gifts (in excess of 5K), corporate giving and foundations. Candidate will be responsible for the identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donor prospects. Ideal candidate will have excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively with Board of Directors. Proven success in the development and implementation of a major gifts program are essential. Salary: D.O.E., plus benefits.
