SCANPH presents: Understanding Title Insurance

We will review the basic components of title insurance including some of the common mistakes that wreak havoc at closing time. By attending this workshop you will have a clearer understanding of what a reputable title and escrow company can provide before and even after problems arise.

The discussion will cover the importance of analyzing closing instructions, recording regulatory agreements, and explain what clear agency subordination agreement means. The panel will also explain how to avoid a loss of priority, and  how the title company insures when there is a loss.
