Menorah Housing Foundation is celebrating the Grand Opening of Parthenia Street Senior HousingSubmitted by Robert Dhondrup on 18 March 2008 - 4:57pm.On April 3, 2008, Menorah Housing Foundation is celebrating the Grand Opening of Parthenia Street Senior Housing, 19455 Parthenia St., Northridge, CA 91324. Parthenia St. Senior Housing consists of 77-units of very low-income senior housing funded by the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development's Section 202 Program, and the City of Los Angeles Housing Dept., with grants from the Ahmanson Foundation, the Jewish Community Foundation and City National Bank. The architect is Richard Barron, AIA and the contractor is Alpha Construction Co., Inc. Established in 1969, Menorah Housing Foundatin is a non-profit community organization that develops and manages affordable independent-living apartments for vey low-income persons 62 years of age or older. |
