SCANPH has started up a new policy working group that will meet every month to provide a regular monthly opportunity to coordinate the knowledge, feedback and advocacy covered in the past by last year's policy conference calls, the SCANPH land use working group and the LA working group.The policy working group will meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month, 9:30 AM-11:30 AM. The meetings usually will be at Sharpe Hall, St. Vincent's Church, 621 W. Adams Blvd, LA 90007, on the northwest corner of Adams & Figueroa (the parking lot is entered off of Figueroa). In continuing efforts to increase access to supportive housing for high utilizers of public health resources, and maximize the efficient use of scarce public resources, City and County Departments issued the first collaborative Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) last month.
