Executive Director Position

The Board of Directors of Community Corporation of Santa Monica (CCSM) invites applications for the position of Executive Director. This position presents an opportunity for an outstanding and savvy affordable housing and community development professional to lead an award-winning organization that works in a long-standing and committed partnership with the City of Santa Monica.

CCSM is a locally based, nonprofit organization committed to developing and managing affordable housing in the City of Santa Monica and the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The City of Santa Monica invests more than $10 million annually on housing for working families, seniors and people with mental and physical disabilities.

The Executive Director's primary responsibility is to mobilize and coordinate external and internal resources to accomplish CCSM's mission and goals. The Executive Director has day-to-day responsibility for leadership, successful strategic direction and guidance of the organization. In the current organizational structure, the Executive Director oversees all aspects of the CCSM's work, including housing development, property management, community relations, resident services and administrative support functions including bookkeeping, accounting, finance, IT, and HR.
