Leadership Southern California 2011 will offer unique, accelerated access to the key people and issues that connect this region of global importance. In addition to place-based seminars focusing on the trends shaping our region, participants will interact with leaders of local, state and national note while further strengthening their own personal development and civic engagement. The 2011 new curriculum addition includes a regional seminar in Ventura County and a two-day seminar on natural resources management including energy. A two-day orientation session will feature an Internal Dynamics of Leadership component, in partnership with the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. This component focuses on executive education practices dedicated to managing one's self in the midst of challenging and sometimes stressful situations.
