USC Ross Minority Program in Real Estate

Summer 2010 Session 

For those of you that have not heard of it, the Ross Minority Program in Real Estate is an 11 day professional training in real estate finance and development. Taught in an intensive format, the Ross Program is designed to provide participants with the skills and expertise to influence the development and/or redevelopment process in emerging communities.  The Ross Program teaches real estate development from a finance perspective but also integrates sessions on affordable housing, public/private joint ventures, community development, design, and entrepreneurship.  The coursework is practical and relevant incorporating various teaching methods such as field trips, panel discussions, case studies, and group projects. Participants leave the program with an understanding of the real estate development process as well as access to a substantial network in the real estate industry. 

The Summer Session is June 7-18th, 2010. Tuition covers registration costs, course materials, networking events, meals, and housing. The application deadline has been extended to April  30th. For detailed information regarding the program, please visit the program website at www.usc.edu/ross.
