We urgently need your help as a nonprofit developer to educate Congress on affordable homes. Please take a moment to complete the Tax Credit Pipeline Survey
here with any project in your 2010 pipeline.
We are contacting you because we need your help with the
Tax Credit Pipeline Survey as part of a statewide effort by advocates for affordable homes. Housing advocates are working together to collect data on pending Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects in California and encouraging our Congressional representatives to include
our proposals for affordable homes and job creation in any new potential jobs legislation.
This data has been requested by Congressional staff working on legislation to extend and expand the 9% LIHTC Exchange to allow the exchange of 4% Credits in 2010 along with other LIHTC market improvement measures including the ability for investors to carryback LIHTCs and the expansion of eligible investors to include certain LLCs, S corporations and closely held C corporations.
SCANPH, along with other housing advocates, are part of the A.C.T.I.O.N
national coalition that seeks passage of these proposals to strengthen the housing tax credit program and contribute to job creation. We encourage your organization to complete
the survey with your planned 2010 projects by February 22 and learn more on what you can do by visiting the A.C.T.I.O.N
website.
