Make sure you make room on your calendar to attend the SCANPH Annual Meeting. Each year this event has been a pleasant surprise to those first timers. The SCANPH By-laws requires a general meeting of the membership to elect the newest Board of Directors. This requirement has become a great opportunity to check-in with old colleagues, meet new ones, and get inspired to tackle the workload ahead of us.

The Annual Meeting is a great opportunity to get a little bit of Board business done for SCANPH, and a chance for you to get face-to-face with the Board and staff. We promise a relaxing evening with good food and drinks. $10 suggested donation.

SCANPH and Paul Zimmerman, Executive Director would like to announce that:

1) SCANPH Board of Directors William Harris and Alfredo Izmajtovich have completed their first 3-year term and will be seeking a second 3-year term at the members' meeting on January 28, 2010;

2) The Board of Directors nominations committee has recommended to the membership that Robin Conerly, Ernesto Espinoza, Brenda Rodriguez, Mary Silverstein, Ruth Teague and Nancy Tillie be elected to the Board of Directors at the annual meeting on January 28, 2010;

and 3) Members in good standing may petition to be directors. Petition candidates must submit their names with supporting signatures from five (5) members of the corporation to the nominating committee not less than ten (10) days before the annual meeting.
